- Old news but Armand Williams has named Auburn in his top two. His other top school is Tulsa.
- Williams' high school teammate, Alex Hill visited Auburn recently and called it his favorite visit yet. Coach Grimes apparently told Hill he would get playing time freshman year. Hill's recruitment has really picked up lately and it appears offers from Auburn, Ole Miss and LSU could be coming soon.

Hey, if you can offer quick playing time and be truthful, go ahead and do it. We must have a good line recruiting class.
ReplyDeleteBeaver, Who else do you think may commit this week? I am hearing it could be Dyer.
ReplyDeleteI assume Williams likes Tulsa because of their offensive scheme, tempo, and numbers last year. Young Mr. Williams might want to take into account that we have Tulsa's OC (Malzahn). This should put Auburn at the tippy top of his list.
ReplyDeleteWe need WRs who can catch a football and run over a guy.
Watched Williams video and there is reason he doesn't have an Auburn offer yet. His production just doesn't jump off the screen at you. If we offer this guy it is because we lost out on a number of bigger targets.
ReplyDeleteYeah but he has great hands and can jump through the roof! He can be a great WR for possession or red zone.
ReplyDeleteI don't know I have heard the same Dyer rumors...As of now I know nothing definite about pending commitments...
ReplyDeleteI think we should offer Hill. We need OL and we are behind other teams for most of the other big names on the OL.
ReplyDeleteAs far as WR, we have 3 extremely talented WR right now in AG, SK, and JR. ESPN thinks highly of all 3. I am sure that we are holding out hope for Reed although pulling him from his home state is going to be almost impossible. You never know - crazy things have happened. Either way - this is a very talented group we have coming in to Auburn already. I am not sure we take another another WR (other than Reed) if we can get a higher ranked player at another position. We need LBs, OL, D linemen, etc...
