  • Four star linebacker on Rivals out of HS, three star out of JUCO. Ranked the 22nd best outside linebacker in the 2007 class. Number 6 on Rivals' Alabama Top 50. Five star on Scout out of JUCO and four star out of HS. Ranked the 7th best MLB out of HS by Scout. Ranked a 77/100 on ESPN.com.

  • Born: May 7, 1989
  • Committed 7/16/2006 (originally) and 5/14/2008 (out of JUCO)
  • 5'11", 218 lbs., 4.5 sec 40 yard dash
  • 2008: Redshirted. 2007 stats: Helped lead MGCCC to a National Championship. Had 43 solo tackles, 22 assists, with 17 for a loss, 5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles. 2006 stats: Recorded 140 tackles and 10 sacks in his senior year of high school. Had 15 carries for 223 yards and three touchdowns at running back. 2005 stats: Had 100 tackles including 52 for a loss.
  • Named a PrepStar All-American recruit. Selected to play in the Alabama North/South All-Star game as a junior. Named All-State by the Birmingham News and ASWA. Ranked the 10th best recruit in the state of Alabama by the Birmingham News. Named to the AJC Super Southern 100 and the Mobile Register's Super Southeast 120.
  • Had offers from Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Memphis, Ole Miss, Southern Miss and Tennessee.
  • Only took an official visit to Auburn out of high school (1/12/07).
  • Three sport star (football, weight lifting and track and field). Says Auburn is a place where he has always wanted to play football. Out of high school, James Willis was a major factor in him coming to Auburn. He loves the new staff. Earned a starting position at linebacker in spring practice.
  • Is qualified and has been on campus. Has three years of eligibility.
