Owens: Decision Coming?

LaDarius Owens is making some final visits and a decision could come in the next week. Owens is heading to Tuscaloosa today and will check out Mississippi State this weekend. He says he will talk to his parents after the visits and if he is going to make a decision before his season, it will probably come next week. Looks like it will be an Auburn-Alabama competition with the Tigers leading.

  1. i really hope he picks us because i'm just not feeling very confident about Mosely and Grant anymore

  2. why did you ever feel confident about mosley or grant?... you're either a blind homer or haven't been paying attention... that or a bammer troll.

  3. I would say he (1st post) felt confident about Grant because Grant was visiting Auburn so much. Why did you not ever feel confident about Grant?

Also, from what I have read Mosely has Auburn #1 on his list. Not saying that will not change but there is no need to think the turds will get both.

My observations are based upon about 8 different forums. I work from home so I have nothing but time to hit the refresh button!

  4. Beav-thanks for all of the work you do.
I will say though, it was better before you had assholes (anon 4:45) on here. Fact is you can make cases as to why he may choose AU as well as uat.War Eagle

  6. One thing about Moseley and Owens, if they choose the turds, I'll have to reassess my philosophy that players tend to go where they can play early. The bammers have LB's stacked up now so why would they want to go there?

  7. Owens is NOT going to bamr. Mosley might end up at bamr competing among the 14 other scholarship LBs there. If Mosley does go to bamr, he better starting growing out his dreadlocks.

  8. Who is lying to people about Mosely? That guy is a bammer lock if there's ever been one. And as for Grant, we were tardy to the party... It's pretty amazing some of the ridiculous stuff that gets out there.

  9. to anon 4:51... I don't put much stock in Grant's visits due to his closeness to campus. Bammer has been in on him for much longer than us. He's stated he wants to get away from home. Beaver even said he was not optimistic about Grant... should I go on?... most signs aren't positive.

As for Mosely, the info I got on his camp visit this past weekend did nothing to change my opinion he's bammer lock. The coaches were giving much more attention to Owens (and our commits) than CJM, tifwiw.

  10. I'm starting to really worry about Owens. I'm feeling better about Mosely. I just wish they'd stop giving everyone who commits to Bama a 4th star.

  11. Why are you worried about Owens? I think he is AU bound. I think CJM and Grant are Bama bound.

  12. First time poster. Not sure how to create a name so I had to use "anonymous." Hope Owens will keep the Auburn tradition alive in his family. Bama is going after him hard now. Great site, BTW.

  13. I'm getting sick of this crap with bammer buying these players.Whens someone going to do something? Yeah it's kinda funnies how every time a player commits his stars go up. When a kids an Auburn lean he's a 2 or 3 star no mater how good he is . The REC at work again.

  14. Anon 6:52-So all of this about how much Mosly AND his parents loved AU is a sham? In fact they stayed afterwards and talked to CGC for a while.Hmm, youre right AU has no shot. BTW Grant did an interview and he says the 2 biggest factors in his decision will be playing time and position. That says AU imo.
