A Few Notes

  • Corey Crawford visited today. He said a few schools he is looking at now are Auburn, Clemson and Florida State.
  • Travis Williams has been named a defensive graduate assistant. He will be working with the defensive line.
  • John Cullen's top three are Utah, Tennessee and Auburn. He plays at Fullerton C.C. with commitment Joel Bonomolo.
  • Carlos Thompson named his top four (in no order) Auburn, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Baylor.
  • Caleb Castille, little brother of Alabama players Tim and Simeon, picked up an offer at corner from Auburn this weekend.
  • Travis Dickson has been doing mission work lately with the Atlanta Dream Center.
  • SEC Media Days started today. Auburn has their press conference on Friday morning at 8:30 AM. Today's press conferences were televised on ESPNNews so I would imagine that is their plan all week. Free streaming is also available on SECSports.com. Representing Auburn are Gene Chizik, Tommy Trott and Antonio Coleman.

  5. Yea he's from out of state. Some, not alot, of people are confirming. A few names being tossed around are antonio goodwin and jeffrey whitaker. I personally believe this is misinformation. Hope Im wrong. War Eale!

  6. I've heard whispers...but I am just about positive it will not be Corey Grant...

  7. It won't be Grant. BOL is covering his announcement which means he's going to commit to Nick Saton.

  8. Not to get hopes up but the 4star out of stater is supposedly Antonio Goodwin.

  9. Well, I'd love to have a 4star recruit commit to us tomorrow. The bamr are all high and mighty over Vogler commit. Too bad he is not close to the level that of Lutz.

  10. Yeah sorry basically I am positive it's not Grant...I mean its basically been out for a while but I feel obligated not to confirm it haha...but I agree that Vogler does not impress me...at all...not bashing Bama or the kid I just do not understand why he is rated so high...

  11. Glad you agree with me Beav. I think he is rated that high simply because of his height. The bamrs are also saying he is going to be a force in the low post for them in the roundball. If he is the starting TE, Saban wont let him play basketball. But he will tell him he can to get him to sign.

  12. So everyone thinks Grant is going to Bama? WTF, we better get one of the other top backs we are after.

  13. whats the deal about Lache Seastrunk and LSU. I saw an article on Scout.com, but dont have an account to read it. Is he looking elsewhere now? I sure hope not, I really want him as an orange and blue tiger...

  14. It looks like Ladarious Owens may be going with bamer too. Bama Online announced and will cover his press conference next Friday.

    I can't believe it.

  15. LO will choose AU, BOL were just the first to publish the story. He is a fool if he does sign, he'll have to work his way up a very deep depth chart, and not saying he's not good enough to do so, it's just bama is loaded at LB and we aren't.
