Hawthorne Injured, Out 4-8 Weeks

Starting wide receiver Tim Hawthorne has broken a bone in his foot. He will be out at least 4 weeks and up to 8. The injury occurred during summer workouts.

    I had heard this but others thought it was a rumor. I was hoping they were right.

    As long as Tim Hawthorne wasn't planning to suit up at offensive tackle, we'll be fine. An injury like this to ANY of our starting O-line would be devastating! We've actually got a little depth at wideout.

    What's up with M. Ambles from henry county, Ga.? I know he was a huge prospect and then he got into some trouble or something... is there any news on him?

    I do not know the exact details of what happened but a LOT of schools have backed off of him. Auburn and Southern Cal have pulled their offers...he also had his offer to play in the Under Armour All-American Game withdrawn...but there are some crazy rumors out there as to why...
