- Selected Alabama Star of the Week for a game against Hokes Bluff in which he recorded 12 tackles, 5 sacks and an interception. Named to the Class 4A All-State Team by the Alabama Sports Writers Association as a senior. Three sport letterman.

- Took only one official visit (1/16/2009) to Auburn.
- Committed almost immediately after receiving an offer from Auburn after a standout camp performance. Says he never thought about playing college football until that camp and offer. I absolutely LOVE this recruit!! This is one of those talented guys that the xCTT staff would pull out of nowhere and turn into a household name! His stats are great and the vid from that AU camp was just insane. At the time he was like 6-2 190 and no one at the camp could block the guy from the DE position. He will make a great OLB until he grows into the DE position. Antonio Coleman was 6-2 190 LB when he signed with AU but he wasnt anywhere near as fast as Dee is.
ReplyDeletei question whether Ford has the instincts to play LB (we'll find out soon enough come fall camp), but if he can't just redshirt him and let him tear it up at WDE in 2010.
