Easiest Way To Comment

I myself am having trouble finding an EASY way to register in order to comment that does not include making a blog. I know a lot of people are having the same problems. Anyone want to clear this up so we can get more readers commenting? Thanks guys!

  1. one easy way to do it is to sign up for gmail. whatever you put as your FIRST NAME when you register for gmail will be your username. then you can just comment using "google account". by the way it is incredibly easy to set up a gmail account. and it's an awesome email client.

i think. don't hold me to all of that.

  2. you don't even have to do g-mail. I have just the plain google account without g-mail and it allows me to use the "google account".

(although maybe I have g-mail and just don't know it)

  8. aub2ac..your new username kind of hints that you might be a closet bammer. maybe you should look into something a little different or re-worded. :p

  11. good question. Beav, why not post a link to give newbies a way to get a google account.

That's how I got mine. I wanted to post at a site I just read at, and when I tried to post, it asked for a user name, etc. Then it provided a box for user name and email address, maybe a password.

I don't have gmail, I have a yahoo email. But now that I have a google account, they provide a blogger dashboard which is like Twitter for the internet. Pretty good, but not all inclusive.

  12. hoyt i think you have to go to your google account settings and go to the "blogger" settings. it should let you edit your username there.
