The Nassau County Sports Commission announced their list of 30 finalists for the John Mackey Award. Among them was Tommy Trott. The award is given to the nation's top tight end.
Dont get me wrong I'm really excited to here this but this is a little suprise to me. He hasnt been that great of a catcher because he drops way too many balls. It could be there arent that many good tight ends in college football or maybe hes due for a breakout season. WAR EAGLE!!!
I believe that every fibre of last season was a disaster and Trott was apart of it. It did show. This year will be totally different and he should thrive in Malzahn's offense.
Now we need a QB that can get him the ball.

ReplyDeleteWAR EAGLE!!!
Between Lutz and Trott, we should be solid at Tight End. Go Tigers!
ReplyDeleteMaybe we can also get Dixon. That would be outstanding!

ReplyDeleteI'm guessing catching the football is not a requirement for the John Mackey award?
