- Had offers from Auburn, Colorado, Iowa State, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, Purdue, Texas Tech and UCLA.

- Eguae was previously committed to Colorado. Eguae committed to Colorado in September and decommitted on January 9th, 2009. Auburn did not really enter the picture until that time. He was a target of Curtis Luper's at Oklahoma State. After one visit to Auburn, Eguae was ready to commit. If he did not commit he would have visited UCLA and likely ended up at Texas Tech, UCLA or Minnesota.
