The Defense Takes Two More Hits
Two Auburn players who have never even played for Auburn have given up the sport due to injuries. Linebacker Da'Shaun Barnes and defensive lineman Andre Wadley have left the team. They will remain in school on scholarship but do not count towards the 85 scholarship players. Barnes is due to a recurring hip injury and Wadley is due to a kidney failure he suffered last summer. Auburn now has only 5 scholarship linebackers who participated in spring ball and 8 total.

WOW!!! That is just crazy! I expected Wadley but Barnes is a shock. He was a 4* player out of HS and committed to UT, didnt make the grades but busted his tail to get eligible. The next year he signs with us. I wish both of these guys much success in the future!
