Richardson

Okie dokie let's look at the new commitment.  Jeremy Richardson is a 6'4", 220 lb wide receiver from Springville, AL.  He is a four star on Rivals and a three star on Scout.  I would not be surprised to see him pick up another star on Scout or possibly a fifth on Rivals although it is unlikely.  He also had offers from Alabama, LSU, Tennessee and Mississippi State (even though some sites have taken down listing of an offer to him).  Coming into recruiting this year, Chizik and the staff just about named Richardson as the top priority overall.  In 2008, as a junior, Richardson caught 61 passes for 1,228 yards and 18 touchdowns.  He was first team all-state by ASWA and Birmingham News.

He called the decision an easy one once he got to know the coaches.  He announced at the UAB Hospital in Birmingham along side his grandfather.  Rivals ranks him as the number 26 wide receiver in the nation.  ESPN.com gave him a grade of 78.  One of his teammates, Chase Hughes, also recently named Auburn as his leader.
