Quick Passes Away

Former swimming coach and six time NCAA coach of the year Richard Quick has lost his battle with cancer. Quick lead 13 teams to national titles. Since originally taking over at Auburn from 1978-1982, he lead Stanford to seven national titles and Texas to five. Quick is in the International Swimming Hall of Fame. He lead the 2009 men's team to the National Championships. He was the coach of the US Olympic teams in 1988, 1996 and 2000 and an assistant in 1984, 1992 and 2004. Prayers are requested. He is survived by his wife June, children Michael, Kathy, Tiffany and Benjamin and his grandchildren, Blake and Emily. He was 66. Please pray for the family....
