Four Players Gone?
Auburn Undercover is confirming rumors that at least four players have been removed from the team, while Rivals states that they are still with the team and going through summer workouts. The players involved are Cameron Henderson, Philip Pierre-Louis, Jomarcus Savage and Christian Thompson. In spring practice, Tommy Thigpen was raving over Thompson and Pierre-Louis looked to return after an injury in the first game of last season that held him out all year.

any word as to why?
ReplyDeleteNope not yet...Rivals is saying there are issues that need to be resolved...
ReplyDeleteBeav how can these guys get run off when the HC is on vacation?
ReplyDeleteBigCat...I had the same questions...they say Chizik cannot be reached because he is on vacation...we will see...the rumors have been flying around for about 2 days now...
ReplyDeleteThey all have 1 thing in common, injuries. They could have been let go from the team for injuries.
ReplyDeleteRivals has heard it may be more like three that are gone. I'm hearing that Cam Henderson and Jomarcus Savage may be safe...we will probably know for sure tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThompson and Henderson were described to me today as being "on the line" in terms of academic standing.
ReplyDeleteIf theres truth to players leaving it doesn't necessarily mean they were kicked off. Failing out/medical stuff is a more likely possibility.
FWIW I'd expect Shoemaker and Dallenbach to be let go due to performance (scholarships tied up to 3rd strong long snapper and 2nd string punter?) and Wadley will eventually be put on medical scholarship.
lol...well, they are all friends. I had class with Pierre-Louis, and Savage and the professor could hardly talk because they always made stupid jokes. So they could have just gotten into trouble. Hope to hear more. This isnt good. Everyone has been talking about Louis since he stepped on campus.
ReplyDeleteDallenbach = Epitome of Tommy Tuberville recruiting the last 2 years. What a train wreck!
