LaVoyd James

I am hearing that LaVoyd James has not been cleared by the NCAA and plans to enroll in a community college or JUCO according to a source close to his family. Awaiting confirmation...

  1. No offense, but "ho-hum". Not a huge loss here. If anything, this will just help us get a more talented Corey Grant!

  2. Ziemba,

If Mario Fannin left today, you would say "it's no loss". At least try to be objective. Grant is a RB and will go to Florida(Unless Auburn has lost Seastrunk & Dyer) and James would have been at the WR spot.

  3. No offense, but hasn't this been pretty well known for at least a week? And, the point of announcing it would be?

  4. Beaver or anyone with the knowledge. In Regards to the 3 schollys and troublemakers dismissed from the team. Can AU now sign 31 instead of 28 come Feb. since those schollys were vacated?

  6. I'm pretty sure the SEC put the cap on at 28 so it doesn't matter. Plus of those that sign we can only give 25 a scholarship per NCAA.

  7. Early enrollers count with the previous class. So 28 could sign in 2010 if 3 were enroll in Jan and we are still under the 85 total limit for schollys.

  8. If he's looking at JUCO that means his grades are pretty bad and not necessarily related to test scores. That's my understanding anyway.

  9. They only count towards the previous class if we have under 25 from last year actually enroll, which I'm sure we do, but they don't automatically count back towards last year's class.
