Not A Ton Going On Today...

  • Deion Belue committed to Alabama. He had previously named us his leader as recently as late May.
  • Right now, I am watching the 2004 Auburn-LSU game on CSS. Anybody else?
  • 2010 DB/WR DeMarco McNeal says he hopes to get an offer from Auburn soon. He seems very interested in Auburn.
  • Anthony Williams recently said he could be making a decision soon but it appears now, after speaking with his parents, he will hold off a bit longer. He plans to visit Florida, LSU and Auburn in July and expects to have a decision after that. His favorites are Florida, LSU, Auburn, FSU and Georgia Tech, in no particular order.
  • Wide receiver target Antonio Goodwin will now play in the Under Armour All-American Game. A lot of people like our chances with him.
  • Marcus Lattimore says he will narrow his top 8 down to five at the end of July. He has recently visited Clemson and Georgia.
  • Michael Dyer is planning a summer decision. He says he plans to go back on the road in mid-July. He said he "needs" to visit LSU, Notre Dame and Auburn again. He did not mention Arkansas at all...

  1. Top 2011 instate recruit Brent Calloway committed to Bama as well, unfortunately.

  3. Lattimore is taking his visits....he wants to keep people on edge until NSD. I still see him committing to Auburn. But the Dyer news maybe messin' with him! ;)

  4. I love how bama fans love nothing more than to point at any Auburn commit receiving less than four stars, and say that they will never be able to compete with Saban's handpicked allstar squad. Except this time they get a nonranked athlete with no decent offers other than Auburn and Alabama. And both those were probably conditional.

  5. Well a three star commit right now can turn into a 4 or 5 after their senior year. They still got a while to go and can only get better.

  6. At this point in the recruiting process stars mean less than normal. By the end of their senior year they can gain or lose stars.
