Grant Ready To Decide

Corey Grant is about ready to make his decision. He just visited Auburn for passing camp and then will make his first ever visit to Florida next week. He will make his final decision after that between Auburn, Alabama, Florida and Georgia. He claims no leader right now. I see Florida in his future but we have a chance.

  1. Florida already has a recruit from the Auburn area so there's a good chance he'll opt for the gators. Sad to let him get away!

  2. He will sign with Florida.

  3. You never know. He may go down to Gainesville and not feel at home. Then he's Auburn bound!

  4. Despite his speed, he's not a particularly impressive back. I happen to think that the whole Seastrunk situation is scaring him off. If it were me in Grant's situation I would look elsewhere if I thought I might be competing with the #1 RB in the nation.

  5. Sammy, I totally agree. I think he should LOOK elsewhere, but I think he signs with Auburn. Message boards have posters "scared" about his last visit being to Florida. That doesn't scare me. Look where David Oku was THE DAY BEFORE he committed to Tennessee. I think we have a shot, but unless he KNOWS we already have Seastrunk or Lattimore, he shouldnt base his decision on that. If he is a little reticent about competition, is that the type of RB we want when the REAL competition (SEC play) gets started?

  6. Even if he's not that impressive...with his speed Malzahn can use him! He can be a threat also in the return game.
