Injury May Not Be That Bad

Gene Chizik is now calling Aairon Savage's injury a "slight" injury and said that it is not a "big concern" right now. Chizik did seem to be quite vague. He said he could not even say where the injury occurred. Waiting to find something officially released...I originally published that there was a tear to the Achilles but this might not be completely accurate. One news source has confirmed that surgery has already taken place....

    Poor guy! I know he will bounce back. Beaver, any word on Mike McNeil? I know he was hurt as well earlier this year. Any word on him?

    I really hope the guy is okay. He has a lot of potential but has caught a lot of bad luck since his first season on the plains.
