Parkey...Our Best Commitment?
According to Scout.com, Cody Parkey, our kicker commitment for 2010, is our best commitment. He is the first commitment that Scout has ranked as a four star. They also ranked him the second best kicker in the nation for 2010. Rivals named him a three star but quickly took down kickers' stars for a reason I do not know (which is the ranking I use to the left). Rivals has ranked Jeremy Richardson as our only four star commitment thus far. Congratulations to Cody. I honestly was not expecting a kicker to be named a four star at all.

We often shun kickers but they are very very crucial. Is this staff recruiting well or what?! WDE

ReplyDeleteIt irks me that Scout refuses to acknowledge that the Richardson Kid WR from Springville is a 4 star. If he were a bammer commit, he'd be a 5 star.
ReplyDeleteWell I don't worry about it. 5 star, 4 star whatever. I believe in the Auburn coaching staff to coach these kids up to a level they need to be at. Alot of these kids are busts anyways and come in with so much hype that they don't do as well while the lower radar guys come in and work hard. I really do believe that Auburn's coaching staff is way better than Alabama's and it will show this season.
