Johnson De-Commits From LSU

In a turn that could affect Lache Seastrunk, Storm Johnson has de-committed from LSU. When Johnson committed many thought that would severely hurt LSU's chances of signing Seastrunk. Now it comes out that LSU was trying to keep everything as quiet as possible regarding Johnson. When Johnson committed he was asked not to make it public now it appears he does not have a committable offer from LSU. Even though Seastrunk has previously said that competition does not affect him, this could help LSU.

  1. Hey Guys and Beav! New to this site. I am an '08 grad living in Austin. I thought Storm and Seastrunk were to completely different types of runningbacks...right? So I don't see how this helps LSU. I think Seastrunk loves the Auburn staff and wants to play for runningback U. Just my opinion.

  2. Yeah I still wouldn't think that this hurts our chances with Seastrunk.

  4. I'm not a recruiting expert, but if you take Seastrunk at his word, I'm not sure how this is even related to him. I don't say this to offend, but I think we can take every little word of development to seriously. Basically we have no idea what's going on and with Seastrunk, that's where we're going to be until he commmits.

  5. Hey Beav...hope my comment didn't sound harsh...sometimes typing things out can sound that way....love all the great info you give.

As a philosophy student, I'm just not sure about the reasoning here. But hey, teenagers often do things that defy logic... :)

  6. Could see how some could correlate SJ's decommit with LS moving closer to LSU (and I know for sure that their fans are probably claiming him already), but I agree that realistically the two have nothing to do with one another! Let's hope!
