Still In It For Mack

Auburn appears to still be in it for big time offensive lineman Eric Mack. The South Carolina commitment says he is planning an official visit to Auburn for the West Virginia game. I have heard rumblings that West Virginia weekend could feature many big time prospects. It is the only other visit Mack currently has planned.

    If Spurrier gets fired or quits, which is not out of the question, I feel that gives Auburn an even better chance of getting this big guy

    I sort of wondered if the staff still felt good about this guy. And our staff doesn't seem like the type of recruiters to let a guy go just because he commits elsewhere. It aint over til its over.

    Any updates on Mike Thornton (4 star DL recruit)? Apparently someone is feeding him "negative" info about Auburn? Hopefully you can fill in the blanks.

    I have heard someone is in his ear...the guys over at AuburnSports.com seem to think we still lead for him...they also think a commitment could come next month...
