After days of rumor and speculation, number two dual threat quarterback in the nation, Tyrik Rollison, has committed to Auburn. The four star quarterback committed after Auburn came out of nowhere and started recruiting him late in the process.
Rollison is Auburn's 22nd commitment for the 2009 class and the second quarterback, after Alabama's Mr. Football, Clint Moseley, also committed recently.
Rollison, quarterback for Sulphur Springs High School in Sulphur Springs, Texas, lead his team to a state championship this year. In the title game, Rollison went 23-29 for 398 yards and four touchdowns, as well as 127 yards rushing and three rushing touchdowns. On the season, he threw for 4,728 yards and 53 touchdowns, as well as 1,094 rushing yards.
There are questions whether or not four star Rollison will qualify. His GPA has been brought up but his ACT score has been rumored to be a 13 or 14. Rollison has been studying to take the test again since.
