Aubrey Phillips Update

I will not reveal my source right now but someone close to the Aubrey Phillips situation said that Phillips is "falling away" from Tennessee. Whether this has truth to it, time will only tell. I just tell you what I hear.

    Seriously, I have a good feeling about Phillips. We need some help on the OL. Hopefully his visit will go well and he'll commit to Auburn!

    I've heard Bates is trying to get Phillips to come as well. That would be great. We need depth at OL and I love the size of the guys we've got already.

    I also hear Bates is "severely underrated." This is from the bama mods on BOL. There's a bunch of talk as to whether he had an offer from bama or not. I really don't care. I just know this kid looks like he could be a true unknown diamond in the rough.

    No doubt...he is 6'1, runs a 4.5, and has a 38 inch verticle. Thats pretty darn athletic if you ask me...

    Okay okay...since a lot of people are saying they think it is down to just us and Arkansas for Phillips, my source is Bates...he told me he will be working hard on Aubrey this weekend...
