- Pat Dye addressed the team on Pat Dye field before the practice. Chizik called it an eye-opener to have Dye talk to them.
- Antoine Carter will be fine after his Sunday leg injury but remains day to day.
- Jay Boulware stressed that he wishes for consistency in both aspects of the kicking game. He called the kicker position a "pick-'em" and that the punting job is up for grabs between Shoemaker and Durst.
- Chizik was impressed with the improvements in the running game but said that the offense is still missing some intensity.
- No real news out of the quarterback battle but Jay Tate seems to think Burns believes he has earned the job.
- Other than Mack, Auburn hosted three other prospects in practice: Quantavious Leslie, Gary Robinson and Jonathan Mincy.
