Monday Night Notes

  • After the first day of the coaching staff's self described "prowl", recruits have responded positively.
  • Auburn visited Blount High School in Mobile.  Contact between athletes and coaches is limited to a "Hi" right now but the presence was felt according to Blount's head coach.  Blount is the school of four star Jarrick Williams.
  • Other schools visited Monday included Vigor High School, Williamson High School, Davidson High School and Theodore High School.  At Williamson, Barry James says the "prowl" made him feel special.  One other target was Davidson defensive tackle Pat McNeil.  McNeil is the younger brother of injured safety Mike McNeil.
  • C.J. Moseley was also impressed by the seven man visit to Theodore High School.
  • Prattville athlete Sam Gibson visited Auburn this weekend.
  • Jonathan Mincy has named his top three as Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee.
  • Tank Sessions visited Auburn this weekend.  He included Auburn in his top five along with Georgia, Ole Miss, Florida State and Oregon.  If he picks up a visit from UGA I see him picking them.
  • Corey Crawford enjoyed the "environment" on his visit this weekend.
