- There is no real gap still between Kodi Burns and Neil Caudle and I would not expect one by the end of spring practice.
- Kodi and Caudle both threw touchdowns in the scrimmage but Caudle threw an interception. Quarterbacks went live for the scrimmage.
- By all accounts I have received, the defense "won" the scrimmage.
- Eric Smith and Onterio McCalebb had big runs. Terrell Zachary caught the touchdown from Caudle. Mike Slade intercepted Caudle.
- Game took place in Jordan-Hare and was closed to the public and media.
- Starting receivers were Zachary, Hawthorne and Darvin Adams.
- Onterio McCalebb reportedly fumbled on the final drive and Cameron Henderson recovered, allowing for the defense's victory. Drew Cole caused the fumble.
- Ben Tate described his performance as "poor" and said he fumbled, among other things.
- Ralph Spry Jr. caught a touchdown from Burns.
- DT Zach Clayton recorded two sacks.
- Justin Albert reportedly had a long run.
- Mario Fannin was limited by an ankle injury that has hampered him most of spring.
- In Auburn's scoring system, which I do not personally know, the defense won 45-40.
- Mike McNeil was given a lot of credit in helping the defense.
