The Press Register has optained the contracts of every Auburn assistant coach. Gus Malzahn, Ted Roof and Trooper Taylor have signed three year contracts while every other coach has signed on for two years.

  1. Well Gus Malzahn better get some cash from Auburn 'cause I don't want him to leave. I know it's just one game but he's a genius. They need to give him Saban money and name him assistant head coach if we continue to put up crazy numbers like this all year.

  2. I read somewhere (I think Herbstreit or something) that they think Malzahn is one of the 5 assistant coaches in the NCAA most likely to take the next step to HC..

  3. Well at least he is signed on for three years with us. Saturday night was just a page out of what this man is capable of. By the time we play Bama he's gonna throw the book at em'! WDE!

  4. I wonder if Trooper will be in a position to take over for Gus when he leaves. It really is an issue of when. I hope we can build a good talent base while he's here for when he leaves.

  5. Luper might also be able to take over at OC if Gus leaves. Luper seems more cerebral, like Gus. Luper is the one is the box, while Trooper is on the sideline. Trooper seem to be the hype man.

  6. Well Gus will be here a while. He wants to stick it to the Nuttcase at Ole Miss.
