Rankings

Auburn failed to crack the top 25 rankings again this week after a big win over West Virginia. They came in at 28th in the AP Poll and 29th in the USA Today poll.

    My goodness, what has to happen to get ranked? We all know it won't happen after Ball State. If AU beats Tenn and ARK, they have to be 15th-18th.

    I think it will after Ball State. If only to hype the UT game the next week.

    Yes, it will happen next week, especially because there will probably be a few teams that will lose in front of us. I'm not worried about it because if we beat TN, we're definitely in the top 25, if we lose, we're out of it...we need a big win to gain some confidence before we take on Arkansas and LSU.

    When Kodi Burns threw that long pass way out-of-bounds, did you see him laugh out loud afterwards? That gave me hope for the rest of the game. He did not get down on himself or the team. He had confidence that everything would be ok in the end.
    What a job these coaches have done to inspire confidence, unity, and commitment! What an excellent team effort for this win!

    Definitely, there were a few plays that Auburn just barely missed taking it to the house...if some of those had connected, the game wouldn't have been so close...
