Gator Bowl

The Gator Bowl is "very interested" in adding the SEC to their lineup. The bowl currently has ties to the ACC, Big East, Big 12 and Notre Dame. It would likely only happen if the Capital One Bowl cuts ties with the SEC. The Gator Bowl is played in Jacksonville.

  1. I don't see the SEC dropping the Cap One Bowl. It's the biggest non-BSC bowl and produced solid match ups every year. I'd be happy w/ dropping the Cotton Bowl in favor of the Gator Bowl.

  2. It more likely the Capital One Bowl drops the SEC, not the other way around. Or at least that is what I got from the way Beaver worded his post.

The Cotton Bowl is lobbing to become an BCS bowl. They have moved from the Cotton Bowl Stadium to the New Dallas Cowboy's stadium.
