Update On The Phillips Story

I just talked to Daren Bates myself. He told me that Phillips committing to FSU at halftime is a lie. He said they were in the locker room at halftime.

    Since you talked to Bates...did he say who Phillips was going to commit to? I have to like our chances if he said that "it was a lie" that he commited to FSU.

    I had a few quick words with him...I asked if what was being reported on Rivals was true but I don't have the exact response but something to the effect of "nah that is a lie, I'm on the basketball team with him, we were in the locker room at half time"

    The article says he showed up in a garnet and gold jumpsuit, even if he didnt announce it at the game is that true?
