Perhaps the top running back in the nation for 2010, Michael Dyer, has said he will visit Auburn on March 7th for Auburn's firs Junior Day. Although not listed in the Rivals 250 Watch List, Dyer was EA Sports' National Sophomore Player of the Year in 2007. Dyer got injured midway through his junior season but still managed to put up good numbers.
2007 So.: 2,710 yards rushing, 28 TDs
2008 Jr.: 1,984 yards rushing, 19 TDs (1,407 of which were through his first 6 games before getting injured)
Gus Malzahn recruited Dyer at Tulsa and is a reason Auburn is one of his early favorites. Dyer currently lists his top 5 as Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Florida, and boasts offers from all five.
Dyer is out of Little Rock Christian in Little Rock, Arkansas. The 5'9", 202 lb. running back also has a 4.4 40 and a 3.42 GPA.
