2010 kicker commit Cody Parkey was assured that he still has a scholarship offer from the new staff recently. Parkey's offer originally came from Coach Tuberville's staff. New special teams coach Jay Boulware recently told Parkey the offer still stood. Parkey still plans to sign with Auburn.

Kicking coach and expert Chris Sailer recently rated Parkey as the number one kicker in the nation for 2010. Parkey is talented from long distance. This season he was 5-8 on field goals but of the three he missed, two were blocked and the other was from 54 yards. Parkey did make a 51 and 55 yard field goal this season. He was 10 for 10 on extra points.
