As assumed, Auburn has hired Tommy Thigpen away from UNC to coach safeties at Auburn although he has coached linebackers at North Carolina the previous four years. Chizik also announced that defensive coordinator Ted Roof will coach linebackers. Chizik also promoted Auburn Director of NFL Relations Phillip Lolley to cornerbacks coach.
Thigpen has been rated one of Rivals' Top 25 Recruiters the last two years.

Hopefully this means Bama' wont dominate as much anymore. Either that or we can just take recruiting outside AL. Great hire, War Eagle!
