AuburnSports.com is reporting North Carolina's key recruiter Tommy Thigpen could join Gene Chizik's staff to coach safeties. They also think that curren Auburn Director of NFL Relations Phillip Lolley may coach cornerbacks.
Auburn still has vacancies at defensive backs coach and linebackers coach, after losing former linebacker coach and key recruiter James Willis to Alabama.
