- Today was the Elite Action Combine. I have a few quick notes from that: the state of Alabama's top prospect, Demarcus Milliner, ran a 4.31 on the 40 yard dash. Milliner claims his all time fastest time at 4.28. Milliner also recently discussed the Tiger Prowl. He said that it made an impact on him. He said what really affected him was all seven coaches visiting. He said he likes "that Auburn is headed back to being a winning program".
- Auburn commitment Jake Holland posted a 4.53 40 but by the time he ran it was steadily raining. Auburn target Sam Gibson ran a 4.55. Former 2010 commitment B.J. Chitty ran a 4.52 and corner back target Dale Trimble ran a 4.53.
- From an interview with GamecockCentral, Marcus Lattimore says Auburn is still on top. He also said that he does not intend to graduate early and join a school in the spring semester.
- Trovon Reed told Warchant.com that he intends to visit Auburn, LSU, USC and Oregon over the summer.
- CollegeFootballNews.com rated the top 10 new coordinators for the 2009 season. New defensive coordinator Ted Roof came in at number ten and offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn came in at number one. They stated that if the risk pays off with Malzahn, it could takes years for the SEC to catch up.
