Out Of Top For Dyer

TigerBait.com talked to five star running back Michael Dyer recently about his spring and his future plans.  When asked to name favorites he named Arkansas, Alabama, Oklahoma and LSU.  He did say that he plans to attend summer camps at Auburn, LSU, Notre Dame and Tennessee.

  1. Time to shift gears and get Trooper/Luper recruiting this kid instead of Gus Malzahn.

  2. If we loose this one after leading with this young man, the Auburn staff better change the way they are doing things. Craig Sanders lost. J.C. Copeland lost. And if we loose the stud runner of Arkansas, that is going to damage us, not acceptable. Auburn is digging themselves a hole. This means we have to come out of the gate with a 6-0 to get those guys to look at us again.

  3. Ok, Craig Sanders was never "lost". He was a Bammer from Day 1. J.C. Copeland is one of many solid DE's we are looking at....regardless, Copeland will be moved to DT on the next level anyway. Excuse me if I don't cry myself to bed at night that we lost Dyer when we have Seastrunk and Lattimore digging our treats. You people need to get a grip....trust this staff when it comes to recruiting. They have a very definite plan with what they're doing.

  4. I think Luper and the staff are doing a great job with recruiting. Did Tubbs and the BBQ Boys do this kind of recruiting? No way! It's too early to tell right now but I firmwly believe that in the end Auburn will have a top 5 class come Feb of 2010.

  7. Anonymous you are not obeing very ptimistic. Most top recruits wait until signing day to sign and we have some of the top recruits looking hard at Auburn. We are doing great so far and just because we don't have many commits yet doesn't mean anything.
