Update

  • Evan Washington's coach said it looks like he will visit Auburn, USC, Alabama, Miami, Oklahoma State and Nebraska this summer.
  • DeMarcus Milliner visited Auburn this weekend and said it went good.  He told Bryan Matthews of AuburnSports.com that Alabama is in the driver's seat.  That should not surprise anyone.  I think he will be 'Bama bound by the end of summer.
  • Ryan Ayers took in Georgia this weekend.  He will be on the Plains visiting sometime this summer.
  • Five star Ronald Powell seems to show some interest in Auburn and has flown under a lot of AU fans radars.  He says he grew up an Auburn fan and has family in Alabama.  He will be hard to steal from the west coast but often has said he wants to play in the SEC.  He has only really visited Southern Cal but look for him to visit Tennessee, Auburn and Florida.  Location really does not seem to be a factor for this California prospect.
  • Deion Belue has said that Auburn is still his leader.
  • Former Auburn player Rod Hood has signed with the Cleveland Browns.  He was released by the Cardinals about a month ago.
  • ESPN's network will broadcast the 11:30 am games this season that Raycom used to televise.  They could show on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN360 and others to broadcast this game.
  • Although we have not picked up a commitment since the spring game, Curtis Luper called this last week "phenomenal" in recruiting.   He said every move in the last month has been planned out and strategic.
  • Corey Grant missed the 6A 100 meter dash state record by 0.07.  He ran a 10.51 and roasted other such as Solomon Patton and Demarcus Milliner.  Opelika star Grant plans to visit Auburn and Alabama this summer.
