Just To Keep Auburn Humble...

Rivals has dropped Ed Christian from a four star to a three star.

  1. wonder what drove that so close to signing day. seems kind of sketchy, smells like an attempt to keep our signing class seem less stellar. maybe i'm just being paranoid but espn still has him as a 4 star with a grade of 80.

  4. I thought I read the other day that Rivals was bumping up Jake Holland from a 3 star to a 4 star? This does seem a little fishy as Christians status has already changed and Jake Hollands has not?!?

  6. if they kept christian as a four star and with the addition of mack, shouldn't that be enough to bump auburn over bama in the rankings

  7. Jake Holland will be bumped and apparently Kenneth Carter will also

  8. Does this "star" business really matter that much? No it does not. What really matters is that we get in young men who are both good athletes and good students. If one loses a star and another gains a star it does not change them.

We just have to hope that our coaches evaluations of these guys is accurate.

  9. i completely agree with yandroz, as i assume most fans would. doesn't change the fact, as curtis luper said, "they keep score," and everything in AL is football. Rivals the number 1 recruiting website bumps down an AU recruit at a very suspicious time.
