RUMOR: Savage Gets Sixth Year

Rumor has it that Aairon Savage has received a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA. The corner back tore his Achilles during summer workouts, missing the entire 2009 season. He had previously missed the entire 2008 season.

    Auburn really needs a leader in the defensive backfield next year. Savage would be an excellent example, and leader. I hope and pray he is strong enough to make it through the season, and has a great year.
