- Eltoro Freeman is working his way back from an ankle injury. Gene Chizik says he hopes he will be back in the next couple of days and says Freeman has "made some headway". Freeman may have practiced tonight.
- Freeman has been seen walking in a boot this past week.
- Chizik: "I think your chances of winning a huge rivalry game is in direct proportion to how you prepare for it."
- Charles Goldberg writes that Walt McFadden planned on giving the message boards some trash talk to post about but he has decided against it.
- Not a whole lot else has been coming out lately. Chizik may still comment on tonight's practice later.
