Reed Chooses Auburn!
Four star wide receiver commitment Trovon Reed announced his intention to play for Auburn over LSU and Oregon this morning. The top player out of the state of Louisiana is Auburn's 21st commitment for the 2010 class. Reed is an Army All American and had offers from nearly every school nationwide. He is ranked the 5th best receiver for 2010 and the 37th best player nationally by Rivals.

WAR FRIKKIN EAGLE!!!! WELCOME TO AU REED!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a HUGE commitment
ReplyDeleteThis staff is doing a fantastic job recruiting! That commit may open the door for Seastrunk or Lattimore or both. We have to concentrate on some good, big ole linemen now to protect the QB and open some holes. Go gitem Chizik, Luper,Taylor, Rocker, et al.
ReplyDeleteWDE, helllllllls yea
ReplyDeleteLache and Lattimore will commit too...
ReplyDeleteAUSOME pickup in Reed! Welcome Trovon and WAR EAGLE!! You will be glad you chose to be an Auburn man.
ReplyDeleteEmmitt, I wanna drink the koolaid just as much as the next guy, but I just can't see us getting Seastrunk AND Lattimore as well as Dyer. When have the top 3 running backs in any recruiting class ALL gone to the same school? There are only so many snaps per game! Just getting either one of those two guys would be HUGE!
In the end, I think we get Lattimore and Seastrunk ends up at USC. I know Seastrunk and Reed want to play together and both have offers from Auburn, but Lache has been showing an awful lot of love to USC lately and Dyer has been recruiting Lattimore to join him at AU. Either way, good luck to both young men and hope they do both decide to be Auburn men - it's the best place to be!
I'm not so concerned with us getting both Seastrunk and Lattimore at this point as I am to begin to bring some big ole good linemen into the camp. It deeply concerns me and puzzles me at the same time as to why Auburn seems to have so much trouble getting top quality linemen each year. We haven't really burned the woods up since the year Zeimba and that bunch signed. What goes?
