Big time 2011 offensive lineman Spencer Region was considered an Alabama lock by most but he shocked the entire state today by committing to the Auburn Tigers. He is expected to be one of the top offensive linemen in the 2011 class and says he planned on committing to Alabama Friday night but made a switch Saturday. Region says Alabama's coaches took him for granted and Auburn's coaches never pressured him. Region says he may visit other schools but he will sign with Auburn.

Love it. I wish I knew what went on behind the scenes with Alabama, because of some of the comments he made (like, "some things were said and done", and "the coaches at Auburn really care about me", etc.)
