QB To Transfer

Tyrik Rollison will transfer to Sam Houston State according to his Facebook and AuburnSports.com. The star quarterback was suspended at the end of last season, in which he was redshirting. His father says he wanted to be closer to his home in Sulphur Springs, TX. This cuts the quarterback race down to Cameron Newton, Neil Caudle, Barrett Trotter and Clint Moseley.

    guy on AU eagle made a good point - assume cam newton wins the qb race --- tyrik rollison may have been an injury away from being the top guy. don't know what the real story behind all this is, but it seems like a shame to lose this guy. good luck in the future Tyrik.

    Well I can understand him leaving but maybe AU is better off without him. He has some issues with academics or something. Now we can focus on getting Driskell and/or Frazier and have a better shot at landing them.
