Tuesday News and Notes

  • Pelham linebacker Jake Holland will attend the first Junior Day this Saturday. Holland currently holds offers from Auburn, UAB, Duke, Kansas State, Vanderbilt and South Alabama.
  • Former head coach Tommy Tuberville plans to return to the Middle East this summer to visit troops. Tuberville visited last summer. He will be joining Mack Brown, Jim Tressel, Air Force's Troy Calhoun, Rick Neuheisel and Houston Nutt.
  • Auburn's mens basketball team picked up their 20th victory of the season in their first nationally broadcasted game of the season. It is Auburn's first 20 win season since the 2002-03 season.
  • Bo Jackson sent red roses to each womens basketball player to congratulate them for their regular season SEC Championship.
